Sun and Sea in Krabi

by melmonica on January 24th, 2012

This post is way overdue. Went to Krabi in September last year for 4D3N.

#1 – My outfit for the trip.

Top, Pull & Bear

Shorts (Hidden), Kitschen

Been wanting to take pics of the sky for a very long time and with the lens 16-85mm it turned out nice!

Oh, forget to warn that this is a pictures-heavy post so go make yourself a cuppa tea and enjoy 🙂

#3 – Cockpit

Encouraged by my pilot friend, it is allowed to take pics in the cockpit but with permission.

We stayed at Red Ginger Chic Resort. One of the best place to stay. Room rates is pretty affordable. Starts from RM200/night.

Check out the interior.

#5 – The reception area.

#6 – The mini bar.

#7 – View from outside the rooms.

#8 – Swimming pool.

We went during the low season (Sept – March/ April) thus the resort occupancy was pretty low as well.

Swimming pool all to myself 😀

And no annoying, noisy kids disturbing my zen time.

#9 – The warm and friendly staffs who never fail to layan all my stupid questions.

#10 – Breakfast.

We were given the options to have breakfast in bed or at the restaurant. For the first 2 days, we picked in bed. And as you can see, the spread is pretty sumptuous.

We also signed up for the wifi – pretty cheap. RM10 per day. So 3 days, RM30 nia.

On the first day of the trip, we did some sightseeing.

Pardon my memory as it is as big as a goldfish’s brain wtf.

#11 – Traveled by boat.

First stop – James Bond Island.

Lush green scenery against the baby blue sky.

We took so many touristy pictures that we didn’t keep track of time.

Paiseh the tour guide have to look for us and by the time we reached the boat, everyone was waiting for our arrival #likeaboss

#16 – Next we did canoe-ing.

#17 – One of my fave pics of the lot!

#18 – Sempat camwhore sumore.

After the ride, we were dropped off at a sea village.

Sky there is even blue-r. I’m falling in love with this place. Like seriously.

Don’t you feel like staring at the deep blue sky all day long?

One of the must place to visit is the night market.

Night market with the stage set-up for performances to entertain the crowd.

#24 – Mussels.

Dirt cheap and spicy.

Kena con. Thought in Krabi also got otak-otak so faster buy this when I saw it.

Manatau it’s some chewy sweet pulut.

#28 – Artsy fartsy painting

#29 – Dessert with rose petals as decor.

That’s the end of this post. Will continue with the following day activity.

Hint: Lots of fat ass bikini pictures 😉

Happy CNY!

  2. wow.. can visit pilot cockpit.. damn nice!

  3. The sky is indeed beautiful but whatever happened to the color of the sea? It looks dirty green, the last I remembered (June 2011), it was in teal.
