For the past few months, I was deprived of ji mui time and fear of losing my femininity wtf. So I was over the moon when Ming invited me to Ipoh for dimsum and some shopping. Though Sitiawan & Ipoh are fairly near but I haven’t ate dimsum yet *shame on me

Was too happy to see Ming till forget to check out the restaurant name zzz. We went to the one opposite Fu Shan (I think) dimsum restaurant. ANYWAY, here’s what we ate:

Read from Ringo‘s blog quite some time ago, it is true that Ipoh dimsum is bite-sized compared to KL & Penang. And it is undeniably good. I was looking forward to some colourful dimsum (for photo op purposes) but these are what’s left. Maybe cos we arrived quite late for early morning dimsum *hrmph

We were playing teh tarik to get a perfect shot.  Even the waitress in the restaurant stood to watch our antics *paiseh

Colour damn big difference kan? That’s why can’t rely on cellphone for a good shot (or maybe it’s just me)

Ming is wearing a bareback dress (very the Serena) and I’m wearing a Blair-esque dress. Picture colour looked dull cos… MNG changing room lighting is not bright enough. And cellphone camera sucks.

After hours of camwhoring/shopping/walking, we headed to Josephine for what we girls do best. Gossiping.

Josephine is small, cosy and warm cafe – make you feel at home instantly. And it was playing melodic jazz.

When it comes to pasta or spaghetti, I always order Carbonara. And this by far beat the one in D’lish, Bangsar but lose to the one at Royal Bay Beach Club, Pangkor Laut Resort.  It is big enough for two small eaters (like us!) and the cheese smells oh-so-good.

Tasted so-so nia. According to Ming, their Indulgence Cheese cake is a must try. Unfortunately, it wasn’t available that day sigh.

This place is perfect if you would like to throw a small private birthday party. I reckon, the space can accomodate max 15 people. And it has candle everywhere. Very romantic (but Ming blew it jor zzz)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MING! For the second time post.

Yay, 2 more hours till my taxi comes, 4 and half hours till my flight departs & 15 hours till I snuggle at home safely.

Gosh, don’t know why neh… suddenly my heart beat so fast. Don’t know whether excited-fast-heartbeat or scared-fast-heartbeat. Just hope that nothing goes wrong later. And most importantly, don’t want pay for overweight hehe.

Btw, I cried this morning cos can’t believe I’m leaving. Can’t hug hug zhumao liao. Need to put her in the cupboard so kesian. Huhu. Not bringing any magazine home cos tarak place liao. Maybe I’ll snoop in the Vogue magazine I took without noticing from a hotel at Brunei keke.

My 2 bags & 1 box doesn’t mean anything. You should see Hooi Ming when she travels by MAS. Gosh, like Paris Hilton only. I miss travelling with Hooi Ming. With her, you can get away with literally anything. Her negotiating skills memang top. Always when I wana negotiate,  the fella gave me a look and I have no choice but to pay.

Just a while ago, Hooi Ming already booked me & baby for dinner tomorrow yay. She wana bring us go eat fried chicken beside the police station at Ayer Tawar. I knew it was good but didn’t know the stall is still exist. And grandma just booked me for lunch tomorrow. Wtf I’m talking as if I’m a celebrity & you need to make appointment prior seeing me hehe.

Neway, I’ll miss Sei Hoo cos he’s stuck in KK not coming back to S’wan huhu. My crazy partner not so in crime.

I’m duper excited I’m coming home this weekend. Sien.. flight on 29 but only reach Sitiawan on 30th zzz. Kesian, this time me have to naik bus back to Sitiawan. Mr Newton Julak has posted to Kota Kinabalu for 3 years as a marine coast officer. Right when I thought I don’t need to visit KK again.

As soon as my 1st roomate ふるさとうへかえります, got more space in the room, so started packing my books & mags 1st. But after packing, started thinking twice whether to bring back or not cos it’s like super heavy. Although this time I’ll be flying back home by MAS (excited!! nem jemput me at KLIA ya, not LCCT)

So right now all alone. Thought I’m going to enjoy my post-exam days.. ok which I did. Me, baby, Elias, HM, Adwin & donkuu went for bowling session. The whole day we were poking fun at donkuu nia. This was my 1st time playing against him. Heard that he is a loser in bowling haha. But this time, he played well. Me, Elias & Adwin bermati-matian trying to beat donkuu which in the end, we did;) & my ball is the slowest ever. It takes 10 second to hit the pin. Elias pulak yawning at the back but in the end it was a STRIKE. shocker.

Gotta go. Baby’s done cooking. しょくどうへたべましょ！さよなら；）

1130 : Nasi lemak with a piece of fried chicken, biscuits

1500 : A cup of mashed potato, soto, daging, fish ball, bits of roti telur

1800 : Feel like wana makan a packet of Nips again

But cannot leh… yc sure cook dinner liao de. Just waiting for her to nudge me down. Die ler… I’m actually used to this situation. When it comes to doing assignment & studying for exam, there’s one thing that I cannot live without… Food. I just have to chew something. If not, I cannot concentrate. Seriously!

Somemore this sem I haven’t even eaten any instant noodel though I want to. But I can’t stand it!! My dearest, lovely boyfriend forbid me from eating it. I know it’s unhealthy but… at least I’m eating something & I totally hate the feeling of starving. Makes you think that you are poor. Sigh…

So, this few days, bought some snacks behind baby’s back. Well, he’ll gonna read this anyway. But hey, I gotta do what Malaysians love the most. MAKAN!!
