I only met my friends on the 4th day of my holiday.

Anyway, I had a great CNY! Didn’t collect much ang pau but I’m really glad to see all my family members are back here for the 1 week holiday.

All my CNY clothes are from Pull & Bear because I only had 1 hour to shop before 1U closed.

CNY Day #1 – One off shoulder dress

Biological alarm woke me up at sharp 7am and weather was freakin’ hot and I brought Steve Jobs book to grandmother’s house to read and halfway thru I was sleepy so doze off on the couch wtf.

CNY Day #3 – Oversized Top

I realized that my Day #2 and Day #3 are loose kinda clothing. Maybe I subconsciously pre-planned all loose outfit are to be worn later so that can eat without feeling guilty wtf.

Best thing about Sitiawan is… the beach is within driving distance.

And I love, love, love the beach. Go there almost everyday. This was taken in Marina Island, a man-made island in Lumut.

Sadly, I only see him once a year *big sigh* and I called him Shrek wtf. Faster go find your Princess Fiona laa. I wana menimang cucu already wtf.

One last picture worth to post is the new Pangkor Laut Resort office in Marina Island!

Didn’t know that they have shifted out from the Lumut office and the new office is absolutely gorgeous. Facing the sea with all the YTL yatch are strategically situated in front of it. The stupid me only took pictures of the harbour using my LC-A+. Now I gotta wait like forever before I get to see the outcome. *Sigh*

Every year, we pinkie swear to have our own reunion and this was the turn out for 2012.

Because I am very #auntie, when the clock strikes 11pm, I kept nudging Pey Tsei & show sleepy face wtf.

And because we only meet up like once a year, it’s funny to hear some of my friends’ thoughts of my job.

1. Eh, you work in an event company right. See you attend so many events.

Correction: I attend event, I don’t work during event *flips hair*

2. You work as a food critic ka?

Wow, it would be such an honour to be a food critic but unfortunately, I’m not. Masak telur pun tak tau… wana critic other people’s cooking

3. Eh, how many AL do you have? 30 izit? See you travel here and there one. One weekend in Malacca, the next weekend in Penang then Krabi etc.

Literally LOL when I heard this from my friend. Yes, I was able to travel extensively in 2011 and I feel like everyone can also do the same lor. You just have to make time to enjoy life. 

But all in all, I had such a great time catching up with all our friends. To see 1 of my friend brought his family to the gathering (far left in the picture), make me feel… soft, feminine, motherly instinct kicks in. But that lasted as long as my gaze on them wtf.

This was the final gathering before everyone disperse back into reality. The number of people were just nice, very cosy and it was one of the best nights with my friends

Next day, I met up with my Form 6 girlfriends.

Believe it or not, I used to speak fluent Mandarin with them for a year. Listened to Chinese song sumore leh. Haha.

We were catching up on each other’s life. Talking about all my our crushes brings back fond memories.

I’m the last person to leave S’wan. Bummer. I miss them already. x

Went hiking the next day and look what we found on top of the hill, a place for people to chill out.

There were gym equipments, sepak takraw area and even mahjong table.

Okay, this is the best part of the Krabi trip. The part I’ve been waiting for. Explore the sea!!

Today we were brought to Phi Phi Island.

#1

#2 – I guess when you’re at the sea, all you feel is high.

#3 – We were brought to a hidden national park.

Where you can see a lot of ang mohs stripped to their bikini and BBQ under the sun.

#4 – It was only our first stop and I didn’t want to immediately ‘wet’ myself.

And we were given only 30 minutes to swim. Not enough for a water baby like me lor.

#6 – Next we stopped at a spot for snorkelling.

#7 – Stripped off and ready to take a plunge.

To tell you the truth, I don’t fancy snorkeling at all.

I hate fishes. I think they’re slimy.

And they creep me out.

After that, we head out to our lunch spot. Food was okay… edible.

After 45 minutes of heaven (too short!), I was the final person to go up the boat.

Felt so reluctant to leave this paradise.

The place is too beautiful. And I love it that the Thais kept the place well, though according to them the corals are all dead

On another thought, I don’t mind being a tour guide in Phi Phi Island lor. Who cares about the money when the view is priceless. Just priceless.

That was certainly the highlight of my trip. RM100 inclusive of island hopping, 2x snorkeling and lunch.

I’d say it’s a bargain as they pick you up right from your hotel lobby and drop you back there as well.

I really love Krabi, was supposed to go there again this year but… I have my eyes set on somewhere further. Hehehe.

We stayed at Red Ginger Chic Resort. One of the best place to stay. Room rates is pretty affordable. Starts from RM200/night.

We went during the low season (Sept – March/ April) thus the resort occupancy was pretty low as well.

We were given the options to have breakfast in bed or at the restaurant. For the first 2 days, we picked in bed. And as you can see, the spread is pretty sumptuous.

We also signed up for the wifi – pretty cheap. RM10 per day. So 3 days, RM30 nia.

On the first day of the trip, we did some sightseeing.

Pardon my memory as it is as big as a goldfish’s brain wtf.

Last month, I was lucky, extremely lucky to win the first prize in my company’s X’mas lucky draw and I freakin’ won RM2,500 Senheng vouchers.

Since I didn’t win the HTC Evo 3D *sniff* so first thing first, buy la smartphone, kan. And you guess it right, HTC Sensation XE and Samsung Galaxy S2 was on my list. Just that I couldn’t decide which to get.

After weeks of asking around and researching, I still do not have the answer. So, last resort… watch which commercial steals my heart and I’ll buy it wtf.

SURPRISE! I got the HTC Sensation XL with Audio Beats

I know! I was supposed to get the XE. In fact, I already set my eyes on the beautiful XE.

Though the screen is not as big as XL but somehow, I fell in love with it.

However, XE is outta stock in Senheng $%%#$^%#$^%$#.

So, it was either XL or S2.

And I die die also want Audio Beats lor cos I reckon I’ll be traveling a lot this year. Way more than last year. I’m so excited!!

Plus music is my life.

Though I have a new phone jor but… I somehow wish I had the XE.

XL macam… no chemistry la. Maybe not yet la kan.

Still… I’ll miss my Samsung Corby Pro very much. You’ve been with me for 18 faithful months. I’ll still keep you and may use you in case XL decided to die on me in the middle of nowhere.

We went to Finnegan’s, Mid Valley. It was a first timer for most of us. Love the chillin’ atmosphere. But too bad they do not have Heineken tower. Was really looking forward to that.

I popped my drinking cherry with Heineken at Rainforest World Music Festival and this time I’m having a merry X’mas with it again. Lovesssss!
