Hi! I’m Melissa Newton Julak but I’ve been known as melmonica ever since I was 13. It’s a combination of my nick, Mel & my friends said my character is similar to Monica from F.R.I.E.N.D.S. So, there you have it, melmonica:)

I’m currently studying International Marketing in University Malaysia Sabah Labuan International Campus. I’m in my final year already and I so can’t wait to graduate! Hehe.

Ever since I was young, I love writing. Be it writing diary, letters, cards etc. The funny thing is, I tried to write my own biography and obviously I failed cos… I just don’t know where to start. Haha.

I love singing as well. But I’m a shy singer. Can’t sing in public due to my pitching problem. But hey, I did audition for Malaysian Idol Season 1 in Penang and KL and unfortunately, I got rejected. But it’s okay though. Now, I get to virtually sing in public at meetoto.
